These clients came to see us as we were working on an extension to a nearby property. They were so impressed with the work we had done they asked us to quote for what was to be a substantial extension to their Grade 2 listed house. Their architect had designed the extension to have a very modern, contemporary feel to deliberately contradict the existing part of the house. The main bulk of the exterior materials were a local brick with the top half completed in oak cladding under a hand made clay tile roof. Associated works also included a sand stone wall and extensive patio area.
